Local & OTR CDL Driver
Spectrum Environmental is currently seeking CDL A&B Operators to join our growing team in the Alabaster, Alabama area. You will be responsible for safely operating trucks/equipment in our fleet. These trucks include Vacuum (Air Movers & Liquid Ring) Trucks, Combo Units, Sewer Jetters, Roll-Off Frames, and Tractor Trailers. We have a great Training & Development Program that gives you the tools to grow your career!
Spectrum Environmental pays by the hour, so that you are compensated for your valuable time, no matter the traffic situation. Our entire fleet is equipped with manual transmissions.
Operator Responsibilities:
Performing pre/post trip inspections
Safe operation of tractor-trailers and other equipment as assigned
Loading and unloading cargo as required
Properly track and document activity log
Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
Time management to ensure on time delivery
Operator Qualifications:
Previous experience operating trucks/equipment
Valid Commercial Driver's License
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong work ethic
Must be able to work flexible hours.
Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements are a plus
Dump Trailers/Pneumatics experience a plus
Ability to maintain records
Must comply with all DOT rules & regulations

CDL Operators work outdoors in potentially hazardous work environments. CDL Operators must comply with all safety policies and procedures as required by the DOT, Spectrum, and its respective clients. Operators must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
Potential candidates must also be willing to work on out of town projects and be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.
