  • Responsibilities

    Spectrum Environmental is currently seeking an accounting clerk. This person will work as a member of the accounting team. Position to be responsible for providing timely and accurate accounting support to Controller. Includes day-to-day responsibility for managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other accounting functions. Accounting Clerk will need to have a keen awareness of deadlines and the ability to manage competing priorities. Key activities include data entry, record keeping, and responding to management as accounting questions arise. An understanding of the basics of accounting is key.

    Clerk Responsibilities:

    Working through monthly invoices to handle AR/AP duties

    Data Entry

    Filing, organizing and maintaining company records

    Applying Accounting Principles to day to day tasks

    Ability to work within deadlines to accomplish goals and projects

    Ability to work in as a member of a dynamic team

    Ability to work with management on a daily basis to ensure goals are met

    Clerk Qualifications:

    Minimum 2 years previous Accounts Receivable Experience

    Minimum 2 years previous Accounts Payable Experience

    Self-Starter

    Understanding of accounting principles

    Data Entry Experience

    Record Keeping Experience

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting Preferred
