Environmental consulting firm is seeking to hire a Staff Geologist with 1-3 years of relevant and applicable experience in the environmental industry. A Bachelor’s degree in Geology is required. Specific job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, Geologic Evaluations, Soil and Groundwater Sampling, Task Management and Coordination, Project Management and other duties as assigned. Successful candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be goal oriented, and embrace challenges. The position will require overnight travel periodically. Salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

Soil and groundwater sampling

Geologic evaluations

Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments

Preparation of various environmental plans (i.e. SWPPP, BMP, SPCC, etc.)

Conduct environmental audits

Project Management and coordination; and other duties as directed by your immediate supervisor.
