    Skylla Engineering is seeking a Technical Instructor/Course Developer that can work autonomously in a dynamic environment with responsibilities to provide technical and functional training expertise with C4ISR systems. Certified Military Trainer or corporate technical trainer with previous US Marine Corps Signals Intelligence experience preferred. Candidate will effectively implement technical support duties in training development and associated tasks. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Provide support collecting, preparing, editing and distributing materials relating to training in support of Program fielding decisions. • Provide training on fielded systems utilizing Instructional Systems Design (ISD) through execution of all phases of the training process. • Execute training processes in accordance with the Marine Corps Systems Approach to Training (SAT) Manual and Military Handbook (MIL-HDBK) 1379-2 Instructional Systems Development/Systems Approach to Training and Education. • Produce training materials in support of instructor led and blended New Equipment Training (NET) events to include; support to the NET website, Wikis and reference materials, Instructor Guides, Training Plans, Student Guides, graphics support to instructor led sessions, distance learning materials in support of blended learning environments, training materials and graphics support. • Provide technical input to the ILS team with respect to documentation updates; documents include, but are not limited to SAM, SUM, SBL, Fielding Plans, etc. • Assist the Configuration Managers in maintaining training material items as configuration items, ensuring creation of end-user interim training materials, incorporation into courseware and retirement of outdated items and maintain the versioning and accuracy of training courseware updates. • Provide NET, initial training, and Instructor and Key Personnel Training (IKPT) of Marine Corps active duty, reserve and Civilian personnel on the latest software and hardware releases via New Equipment Training Team (NETT) and Mobile Training Team (MTT). • Provide Over-the-Shoulder/Just-in-Time training for C2 Systems during exercises and deployments. • Provide training design with recommended tasks and optimum delivery methods. • Develop Job Task, Gap, and Learning Analyses for each training requirement. • Support integration of NET into Formal Schools training for the project programs. • Maintain course documentation in Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS).

    Required Skills

    • Certified Military Trainer or corporate technical trainer with previous US Marine Corps Signals Intelligence experience preferred. Candidate will effectively implement technical support duties in training development and associated tasks.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic work environment
    • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
    • Maintain professional interaction with Government clients, program management personnel and other contractors

    Required Experience

    • Must have an active SECRET security clearance
    • Education: High School Diploma or GED. Training Certification Experience: Eight (8) years of experience in the "Technical Trade or Craft”, to include: developing appropriate course material, hands on practical experience with techniques being taught, researching latest technical discipline practices, establishing training needs, developing goals and objectives, and developing training programs.
    • US Citizen.
    • Ability to maintain SECRET Clearance with background investigation.
