    SENIOR I T TECHNICIAN

    As a member of the property management staff, contributes advanced knowledge and skill in technology and general hospitality business knowledge to support the property and Information Technology department objectives. Provide technical assistance to computer system users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote location. May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.

    Essential Duties:

    • Monitoring, ensuring and managing the maintenance of property based systems, hardware and software.

    • Working with the IT Team to implement technology solutions for guests, team members, and rental partners.

    • Physically install and at times configure Windows servers, workstations, laptops, printers, speakers, IP cameras, IP phones, etc.

    • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications. - Oversee the daily performance of computer systems. - Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software/

    • Maintain hardware and software inventory.- Maintain record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities. - Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications. - Refer hardware or software problems to vendors or technicians for service. - Coordinate with vendors/technicians engaged in problem-solving, monitoring, and installing data communication equipment and software. - Answer users' inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems- Performs other duties as assigned

    Required Skills:

    Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

    Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services.

    Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.

    Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

    Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

    Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.

    Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

    Must be able to work in an on call/flexible schedule as needed

    Physical Requirements:

    Must be able to stand/walk as needed

    Must be able to bend, kneel, and stoop

    Must be able to move/lift up to 50 lbs.

    Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions including inclement weather and high humidity
