TURQUOISE PLACE PM TRASH/PRESSURE WASHER CUSTODIAN

Position Description Summary: Provide consistent and thorough daily cleaning of all outdoor public areas to include the pool decks, stairwells, parking garages, etc. of Turquoise Place. This position is for second shift (3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.).

Major Job Tasks:

Clean outdoor pool decks as needed

Clean outdoor areas as assigned

Sweep, mop, and clean common areas as assigned

Straighten and stock janitor closets and carts at the end of shift

Clean and disinfect trash compactor rooms daily

Move dumpsters to emptying area as needed

Empty all trash cans as needed

Maintain cleanliness of parking garages, curbs, and around buildings

Place work orders for maintenance issues in all areas of property

Be aware of chemical Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and know the safety precautions they advise. Be aware of where eye wash stations are located

Respond to guests with a cheerful and helpful attitude

Assist with other duties as needed

Required Skills:

Must possess good customer service skills to assist guests

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach

Must be able to lift/move approximately 30-50 pounds

Must be able to climb/stand on a ladder

Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift

Must be able to use a pressure washer

Must be able to work in outside weather conditions
