Job Description
Spectrum Software Technology (SST) is currently seeking a highly motivated Sr Engineer for our civil aviation programs. BS in Electrical Engineering (preferred), Mechanical Engineering or related with 15+ years of related experience. Will substitute additional education for years of experience. Airport/Runway lighting experience is highly desired.
This position is remote but must be available to travel to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)’s William J. Hughes Technical Center adjacent to the Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey as needed.
Qualifications:
Understanding and previous experience in circuits, electronics, lighting systems, and field installations.
Proficient in project management, engineering principles, produce and present technical written documentation to develop reports or documents for research objectives.
Must be able to plan, design, collect and analyze data, and operate electrical experiments, mockups, equipment, demonstrations, circuitry, electronics, and prototype devices related to the airport visual guidance task areas.
Airport operations and lighting experience is not required, however strongly preferred.
