Title: Certified Special Education Teacher
Location: Philadelphia| Woodhaven Road-Philadelphia PA, 19154

Engagement is open for those who are available to start ASAP (Finish this SY) , continue this Summer and or the next SY 2024-2025.

Qualifications/Required Skills:

• Special Education is required for teachers.
• Applicants must possess all current PA state clearances (Police, Child Abuse and Fingerprinting)
• Knowledge of Special Education regulations and procedures
• Experience working with students exhibiting multiple disabilities, including: autism, ADD and ADHD, learning disabilities, emotional challenges, and developmental delays
• Excellent communication and teaching skills
• Positive, student-centered, and compassionate individual
• Experience with diagnostic assessments
• Understanding of Progress Monitoring and data collection

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $55 to $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Education:

• Master's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Special education: 1 year (Required)
• IEP: 3 years (Preferred)
• working with students exhibiting multiple disabilities: 2 years (Preferred)
• working with students with emotional challenges: 2 years (Preferred)
• working with students with developmental delays: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Special Education Standard Certification (Required) | Active SPED Teacher Emergency Certificate
