Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our team! As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be meeting with new patients, assessing their needs, and creating personalized treatment plans to help them reach their goals. You will also be documenting all patient care, observing and participating in treatment, and adjusting goals as needed for the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of speech pathology for the neurologic population, is able to provide compassionate care to every patient, and has excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Complete evaluations and create treatment plans customized for each patient, working with them to set short and long term goals
Assist in the implementation of the treatment plan, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes
Maintaining excellent records of patient needs, care, and outcome
Work closely with the family of the patients and the patients themselves to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success
Qualifications
Graduate of accredited speech language pathology school, with a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and Certificate of Clinical Competence
Active New Jersey state license in speech language pathology
Clinical experience in adult and neurologic rehabilitation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
Strong charting and documentation skills
