Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-Hour Days)
Note: One Saturday per month required
UCSF Health is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide expert care in both pediatric and adult acute care settings. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in dysphagia management, modified barium swallow studies, and assistive communication devices.
Required Qualifications:
- Active California SLP License
- AHA BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience, with at least 1 year in an acute care setting
- Clinical experience with:
- Modified Barium Swallow Studies (pediatric & adult)
- Total Laryngectomee, Trach/Vent, Speaking Valve
- Dysphagia management for both children and adults
- Willingness to float to other UCSF facilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- NICU experience
- Previous experience in an academic medical center

- Comprehensive evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries
- Familiarity with billing and coding protocols
Certifications:
Required:
- California SLP License
- AHA BLS Certification
Preferred:
- Additional certification in dysphagia or NICU-related areas
