    Join our dedicated team as a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in early intervention and preschool therapy services for children birth through age 5.     Position Overview

    We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide itinerant therapeutic services to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with developmental needs. Our SLPs work in diverse settings including family homes, daycares, preschools, and our clinic, delivering individualized speech therapy interventions within a supportive, collaborative team environment. This role offers exceptional flexibility with full-time and part-time positions available, localized service territories, and the option to work during summer months.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide speech-language therapy services to children ages birth through 5 years in various natural environments including homes, daycares, and preschools
    • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations for early intervention and preschool-aged children
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinical and educational specialists to support each child's developmental needs
    • Provide family-centered coaching and education to parents and caregivers on speech and language development strategies
    • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with early intervention program requirements
    • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development opportunities
    • Manage a reasonable caseload within a localized geographic territory near Rochester, NY

    Required Qualifications

    • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
    • Current New York State license in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to various service locations
    • Passion for working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with families and team members

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
    • Previous experience in early intervention or pediatric speech therapy
    • CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply
