    Opportunity

    PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide on-site speech therapy services within a federally supported school-based program in Crownpoint, New Mexico.

    This role supports a community-focused educational environment serving students with diverse needs. The position plays a key role in helping students develop communication skills essential for academic success and daily life.

    Position Overview

    • Location: Crownpoint, NM (On-site)
    • Setting: School-based (K–12)
    • Schedule: Monday–Friday
    • Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
    • Contract Length: 12 months (with option to extend)
    • Start Date: August 2026

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
    • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech/language needs
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes
    • Participate in IEP meetings , multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences
    • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and program guidelines

    Qualifications

    • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience (preferred in school-based or pediatric settings)
    • Active Speech-Language Pathology license
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
    • Strong understanding of IEPs and special education services
    • Ability to work independently in a structured environment

    • Ability to pass a background check and security clearance
    • Must be able to work on-site (no remote option)
    • Current immunizations and health clearance as required
    • Strong communication and documentation skills

    • Experience working in school-based settings
    • Experience supporting underserved or rural communities
    • Familiarity with multidisciplinary care teams
