    Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
    Location: Katy, TX
    Type: 1099 Contract Position
    Start Date: "ASAP"

    What You'll Be Doing

    As a Speech-Language Pathologist at The SPEAK Center, you'll take a hands-on role in transforming lives. Your responsibilities include:

    Therapy & Evaluation

    • Evaluate and provide direct speech-language services for students with IEPs

    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

    • Supervise and support SLPAs during therapy sessions

    Student Engagement

    • Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging therapy experience

    • Foster meaningful connections with students and families

    • Ensure therapy is student-focused and progress-driven

    Collaboration & Documentation

    • Coordinate with school teams and SLPAs to manage student schedules

    • Maintain accurate records and notes in alignment with TEA standards

    • Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and staff

    Professional Growth

    • Participate in ongoing professional development

    • Stay current with new research, tools, and therapy strategies

    ✅ What You Bring

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

    • Active SLP license and ASHA Certification

    • Pediatric experience and passion for working with children

    • Knowledge of therapy tools and techniques

    • Strong communication and organizational skills

    • A compassionate, team-oriented mindset
