Speech Language Pathology Assistant
Looking for a full-time SLPA Monday (9-6) - Friday (8-5).
New Horizon Therapy is seeking a qualified pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to provide support and services under direct supervision of a licensed SLP, for children (birth to 21 years) and work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and social communication.
SLPA's daily responsibilities:
SLPA's must be able to:
Provide direct treatment by following plans or protocols developed by the supervising SLP.
Document client performance and report performance to supervising SLP.
Have strong communication skills
Strong leadership skills
Ability to work independently
Collection of data with each session
Have completed an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant training program.
Hold a current SLPA license.
Hold a current fingerprint clearance card or be in the process of obtaining one.
Ability to be flexible
