We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Therapy Services team. This role involves delivering high-quality speech and language pathology services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for adult and geriatric patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language pathology evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals and at-home strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation that meets professional and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Assist with mentoring SLP students and Clinical Fellows.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or foreign equivalent).
- Licensure: Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathology license (or ability to obtain before start date).
- Certification:
* Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA (or eligibility).
* BLS and AED certification through the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience serving individuals with physical disabilities
- Experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
