Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in Nassau County. Strong Clinical Fellow applicants with experience in treating adults and dysphagia are encouraged to apply. This position is a hybrid of outpatient clinic (Jericho) & homecare on the North Shore of Nassau County. Caseload demographics include: Aphasia, Dysphagia, Pediatrics, School-Age, Voice, Cognitive Communication Disorders, AAC use, etc. We have just partnered with NYU Langone and will be building our outpatient clinics.

Metro is looking for a motivated, compassionate, forward-thinking Speech Therapist who excels at assessing patients’ strengths and weaknesses and devising creative but effective treatment plans. We’re looking for flexible and all-in teammates who are excited by the opportunity to take on emerging challenges.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: Salary $70,000 (CF) - $85,000 + incentives

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible for CF
• Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
