About the Role:
Join The Social Spectrum Inc. as a Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist, where you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We are looking for a passionate professional to help our young clients develop essential communication skills in a supportive and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and other team members.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique goals.
Provide one-on-one therapy sessions focusing on communication/language skills and interaction.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and educators to support children's progress.
Monitor and document client progress, adjusting therapy techniques as needed.
Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative strategies in therapy sessions.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current New Jersey state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Flexible schedule to accommodate part-time hours, including evenings or weekends.
