Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – In-Person | Oakland & Richmond, CA

Celebrations Speech Group is hiring an in-person, school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K–8 students in Oakland and Richmond. This role offers a caseload of approximately 38 students within a collaborative charter school environment.

Job Details

Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Setting: In-person, school-based

Locations: Oakland & Richmond, CA

Grade Levels: K–8

Caseload: ~38 students

Schedule: School-year assignment

Responsibilities

Provide direct speech-language therapy under SLP supervision

Implement treatment plans and therapy goals

Maintain accurate service logs, documentation, and progress notes

Complete biannual student progress updates

Support IEP preparation and speech file management

Collaborate with school teams and supervisors

Qualifications

Active California SLPA License (required)

Associate’s degree in Speech Pathology or Bachelor’s in Communication Disorders

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work effectively in a school-based setting

Experience with diverse student populations preferred

Compensation

$35–$45 per hour, based on experience
