Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) team in Nashville, Tennessee. This hybrid role combines in-clinic patient care with community and field-based responsibilities, providing a unique opportunity to support patients throughout their recovery journey. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and passionate about helping individuals improve communication, cognition, and overall quality of life following neurological injury.
Responsibilities
Conduct speech-language and cognitive-communication evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
Provide therapy services to patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries and other neurological conditions
Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and care plans accurately and timely
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, strategies, and progress
Participate in case conferences and treatment planning discussions
Travel locally as needed to support patient care and community-based services
Maintain compliance with all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Tennessee Speech-Language Pathology license required**
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience working with neurological, cognitive, concussion, or TBI populations preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Comfortable working in both clinic and community-based settings
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
