NOW HIRING a Speech Therapist for per diem opportunities in a home care setting. You will be paid for each completed patient visit (with documentation).

WORK INDEPENDENTLY · 1-to-1 IN-HOME PATIENT CARE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform home visits for patients in a home care setting

Observes, records, and coordinates care with multi-disciplines regarding the patient's treatment and any change in condition

Teaches, supervises, and counsels the patient and family regarding home therapy procedures and other care needs as appropriate to the patient’s condition

QUALIFICATIONS:

Meets the education and experience requirements for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech pathology or audiology granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, or has completed the educational requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification.

Is certified to practice Speech-Language Pathology.

Is licensed to practice speech pathology in the state of Connecticut.

Has a minimum of one (1) years’ experience in a health care facility or equivalent experience.
