    Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (Pediatric Feeding Therapist)

    Location: San Antonio, Texas
    Schedule: PRN / Per Diem | In-Home Visits

    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with pediatric feeding therapy expertise to join our in-home care team in San Antonio. This flexible, per diem role is ideal for a clinician who wants to make a meaningful impact on children and families while enjoying a supportive, values-driven work environment.

    Role Overview

    As a Pediatric Feeding Therapist, you will provide evidence-based evaluation and treatment for infants, children, and adolescents with feeding and swallowing challenges. You will develop individualized treatment plans, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to help children safely eat, drink, and communicate.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough assessments of feeding, swallowing, and oral-motor function.

    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using best practices and, when appropriate, VitalStim® Therapy or other neuromuscular electrical stimulation techniques.

    • Deliver in-home therapy to improve safety, efficiency, and enjoyment of eating and drinking.

    • Educate families on home exercises, safe swallowing strategies, and diet modifications.

    • Maintain clear, timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory and agency standards.

    • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care providers to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

    • Current Texas SLP license (or eligibility).

    • Certification in VitalStim Therapy or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

    • Experience in pediatric feeding therapy and dysphagia management.

    • Current CPR certification and ability to pass a background check.

    • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Per diem pay: $85 per evaluation, $80 per re-evaluation, $70 per treatment visit.
