National Therapy Center is seeking a licensed, experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our DC clinic.
You'll work with children and families from 10AM - 6PM, up to five days per week. This opportunity offers flexibility, autonomy, and a consistent schedule while making a lasting impact through family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized and non-standardized assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's communication needs
- Regularly update plans of care based on clinical progress and client goals
- Provide in-person, clinic-based speech and language therapy services to pediatric clients
- Use evidence-based approaches to address articulation, expressive/receptive language, social communication, fluency, and feeding (if applicable)
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including daily session notes, progress reports, evaluations, and discharge summaries
- Communicate with families regarding client progress and recommendations
- Collaborate with other treating therapists to support coordinated, team-based care when needed
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active DC SLP license (or eligibility)
- Excellent clinical reasoning, documentation, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently
