Job Description
We’re looking to expand our digital marketing team to help drive our B2C ecommerce sales channel. This role will have high visibility and will interact with various departments including the executive team, sales, customer service, product development, supply chain, fulfillment, creative, legal, and others. Must be a team player and have the ability to articulate and champion social media best practices and standards.
KEY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- This key role will work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute the organic social media strategy across our main social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, & TikTok. Will build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, benchmarking, ongoing testing, messaging, and audience identification.
- Must have proven working experience in social media marketing and have excellent copywriting, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Must have demonstrable reporting and analytics tools knowledge and will be able to build and manage monthly reports for the senior team. Must and be able to assess against goals (ROI and other KPIs).
- Must have knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels. Will work closely with other members of the marketing team to integrate the overall marketing calendar and top-level strategy.
- Must have a positive attitude, attention to detail and be customer oriented, with strong multitasking and organizational ability
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ Years of social media/digital marketing experience
- Specific experience preferred working in these social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, & TikTok.
- BS degree in marketing or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Experience in working Microsoft Suite & Adobe Creative Suite software
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
