    Spencer Cole, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic social media intern. This is an unpaid internship. The apprentice will engage visitors, potential B2C or B2B, and potential partners on various social media channels. This role will also include establishing Spencer Cole's social media compliance guidelines. The apprentice will be the lead contributor in our day-to-day social media communications. They should explore and identify ways to integrate social media into existing communications plans and marketing campaigns. Also, they will be assisting in developing ideas for engaging micro-campaigns. This apprenticeship position provides an exceptional educational experience to help build career acumen, which serves as compensation. At the end of the year, apprentices will be evaluated for the overall performance based on work productivity and accomplishments. Spencer Cole will cooperate with colleges and Universities to support apprenticeship credit and scholarship reward opportunities. This apprenticeship can be worked remotely - especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Responsibilities: • Will be responsible for creating and posting engaging blog and social media content. • Also, collaborate with marketing and other digital/social media specialist to conceptualize and create content for micro-campaigns. • Will research best practices and resources to further refine social media strategies. • As well as monitor analytics with social media teams to identify viable ideas. • Works enthusiastically within the organization and maintains a responsive and collaborative environment, inclusive of idea sharing, cross-training, and mentoring.  • Occasional in-person meetings (post the COVID-19 pandemic) may be required to collaborate on key marketing and social media campaigns. • Must support Spencer Cole’s Corporate Responsibility Initiatives, Corporate Culture, and Work Values. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Skilled in social media content creation and working knowledge of primary social channels, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, etc. • High school diploma. • Pursuing a Marketing and/or Advertising associates degree or 4-year college/university degree preferred. • Preferred candidates with social media portfolio and/or approximately 2 years’ experience with major social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.  • Prefer candidates with experience with social media, posting, social media audience monitoring and responding • Candidates with graphics design experience to make graphic design products and templates will be considered more favorably.
