Job Title: Lead Oracle DBA

Location: Ft Worth, Texas (50% on-site role)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team and manage our growing Oracle database environment. The Lead Oracle DBA will be responsible for leading a small team of Oracle DBA’s and performing database administration tasks for our existing Oracle environments. This includes defining, implementing, installing, upgrading, and supporting physical Oracle databases for our enterprise.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of all aspects of Oracle, including monitoring and performance tuning. Oracle RAC, DataGuard, and Oracle Data Appliance (ODA) experience is mandatory. Experience or working knowledge of replication products like SharePlex is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a small team of Oracle DBA's

Perform database administration tasks for existing Oracle environments

Define, implement, install, upgrade, and support physical Oracle databases for the enterprise

Monitor and tune Oracle databases for optimal performance

Knowledge of Oracle RAC, DataGuard, and Oracle Data Appliance (ODA) is mandatory

Experience or working knowledge of replication products like SharePlex is a plus

Qualifications:

Strong Oracle database administration experience

Experience leading a small team of DBA's

Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, DataGuard, and Oracle Data Appliance (ODA)

Experience or working knowledge of replication products like SharePlex is a plus

Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical problems to non-technical and technical stakeholders at different levels of the organization

Willingness to learn and accept current processes and share knowledge with the team
