    Job Title: Enterprise Storage Administrator

    Job Description:

    We are currently seeking an experienced Enterprise Storage Administrator to join our Enterprise Infrastructure Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Storage administration, Windows Server administration, VMware, and Monitoring software. This position will interact closely with multiple teams, including the Operations department, application teams, and IT/Telecom group.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Serve as a central point of contact for all internal customers on request, needs, scope, impact, and best practices.

    Maintain and configure software and system tasks for servers as required.

    Ensure compliance with configuration management systems in adherence to best practices, security policies, and disaster recovery requirements.

    Migrate network shares from other NAS or Windows file share environments to the Isilon/PowerScale.

    Research, test, and deploy storage related updates, firmware, monitoring tools, and patches.

    Regularly back up critical systems as per service expectations and policies.

    Operate within organizational policies, procedures, and programs that boost system reliability/availability and enhance disaster recovery policies and procedures.

    Balance work in a fast-paced, dynamic 24x7 environment while effectively prioritizing tasks.

    Adhere to change management principles and utilize change management software to document changes and work performed.

    Deliver proactive and reactive responses to issues with minimal supervisory interaction, good communication, leveraging monitoring and management tools to ensure highly available systems.

    Required Qualifications:

    A Bachelor’s Degree in a Technology related discipline or at least 4-5 years of related experience in Information Technology for critical enterprise infrastructures.

    5-7 years of experience in maintaining large scale, complex, highly available Infrastructure architecture supporting critical business applications.

    5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and domains – 2008 R2 - 2022

    5+ years of storage experience in Dell, EMC Isilon/PowerScale, Brocade, NetApp

    5+ years VMware experience - 6.x - 8.x (SRM)

    5+ years Microsoft Windows Clustering

    1+ years of Linux OS/RedHat or equivalent

    Familiarity with file share/protocols: CIFS, NFS, SAMBA, Microsoft File shares, permissions, quotas, NTFS

    Experience with monitoring software (WhatsUp Gold, Dell OME, SCOM, Dell/EMC tools)

    Experience with backup solutions (Commvault, PowerProtect, DataDomain)

    Basic understanding of Firewall concepts, TPC/IP, networking, LACP, network security, firewall rule creation

    Proficiency in PowerShell, automation, scripting.

    5 years of experience with Monitoring Tools.

    Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner.

    Availability for 24x7 on-call support.
