Primary Responsibilities In the role of CAD Technician, we'll count on you to:

Produce highway, roadway, and civil site drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software, with occasional assistance from supervisor or others

Participate in BIM development and help lead technical training sessions for the group

Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Associate or technical school degree or combination of education and relevant experience

Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software

Requires a good working knowledge of Civil 3D, construction documents, and technical knowledge

Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are essential

An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

Preference given to candidates that are local to Corpus Christi

5 – 10 years of industry experience

Knowledge of Bentley MicroStation civil design software

Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology preferred
