Senior Civil Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a U.S. Citizen with a strong background in civil engineering, demonstrating expertise in federal, state, and local codes and standards, including Department of Energy Orders. This role requires a professional who can effectively plan, organize, and coordinate civil engineering projects, ensuring high-quality designs and successful project executions.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and coordinate civil engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects across the planning, design, and construction phases.

Generate innovative designs for water distribution systems, water supply, sewage collection, distribution, treatment, grading and drainage, and pavement evaluation and design.

Conduct thorough reviews of construction documents to ensure compliance with all project requirements.

Produce and review accurate design/evaluation calculations, specifications, and ensure all designs meet required standards and codes.

Utilize computer-aided drafting (CAD) applications to create and modify engineering designs and drawings.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is mandatory.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering design, estimating, specification preparation, and construction document preparation.

Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred but not required.

Demonstrated knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to civil engineering design.

Proficiency in computer-aided drafting (CAD) applications and familiarity with the latest engineering technologies.
