What You Will Do As a SharePoint Online Specialist, you will manage, maintain, and build out departmental and org-wide SharePoint Online/Teams sites. You will assist the team in troubleshooting issues, properly structuring the SharePoint sites, implementing site best practices, providing an escalation point to the Help Desk for SharePoint Online-related issues, and training to ensure the system is fully functional for end users.
A Typical Day
Design, develop, maintain, configure, and support SharePoint Online websites for the whole organization
Provide guidance and best practices to site owners regarding site access, Team membership, roles, and Experience designing, developing, maintaining, configuring, and supporting SharePoint Online websites
Ability to troubleshoot permissions issues
Experience enabling Metadata tagging and site taxonomy utilizing features such as content types
Experience optimizing and securing workflow, accessibility, and document sharing
Power BI experience
Experience collaborating directly with site owners, contributors, and stakeholders
Providing systems training to Help Desk staff, users, and system stakeholders
Support incident tracking, troubleshooting, and engaging Microsoft support as required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with audiences of varying technical comfort levels
The Basic

The Preferred
Power Platform Certification preferred (Fundamentals or others)
Experience creating custom forms in PowerApps, and workflows utilizing Flow
Knowledge of Power Platform architectural design principles, administration, and site governance best practices
