    Detailed Job Responsibilities:

    Preparation:

    Carefully inspect and assess the condition of data cables.

    Ensure proper termination and labeling of cables for easy identification.

    Collaborate with the procurement team to address any issues with cable quality.

    Verification:

    Utilize cable testing equipment, such as cable certifiers and network analyzers, to validate cable performance.

    Conduct end-to-end tests to ensure connectivity and adherence to industry standards.

    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cable performance and connectivity.

    Documentation:

    Create comprehensive documentation for each cable, including test results and quality assessments.

    Maintain an organized database or system to track the certification status of each cable.

    Generate reports summarizing verification results for review by the senior technician.

    Assistance:

    Actively participate in brainstorming sessions with the senior technician to address complex cable-related challenges.

    Assist in implementing solutions to enhance cable performance and reliability.

    Collaborate with other technicians to share knowledge and best practices.

    Team Collaboration:

    Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, challenges, and opportunities for process improvement.

    Collaborate with cable installers and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless transition from cable installation to certification.

    Work with the logistics team to efficiently manage the flow of cables in and out of the certification process.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    Hands-on experience with cable termination and splicing.

    Familiarity with industry standards for data cable installation and certification.

    Proficient in using cable testing equipment, including certification tools and network analyzers.

    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cable issues.

    Knowledge of different cable types (e.g., Cat 5e, Cat 6, fiber optic) and their specifications.

    Basic understanding of networking principles and protocols.

    Ability to communicate effectively with team members, including clear documentation of findings and recommendations.
