    Position: Senior Licensing/Project Engineer (Remote)

    Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior Licensing/Project Engineer who excels in a remote environment with minimal supervision. This role involves providing advanced licensing support and guidance for complex regulatory submissions, ensuring adherence to nuclear safety and licensing standards. The successful candidate will autonomously develop and execute licensing strategies, ensuring alignment with technical and regulatory frameworks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Independently prepare and validate safety analysis report sections and other documents for nuclear license applications, complying with specific regulations like 10 CFR 50 and 10 CFR 52.

    Maintain the integrity and accuracy of licensing work, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and project-specific strategies.

    Address and resolve complex regulatory compliance issues, offering guidance to cross-functional teams.

    Directly engage with clients and industry groups, representing the company in professional forums.

    Undertake additional tasks as required, in line with company objectives.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, or Applied Science. An advanced degree is preferable.

    Experience: At least 10 years (8 with an advanced degree) in licensing within the U.S. commercial nuclear industry. Must have experience in drafting safety analysis reports, developing licensing strategies, preparing licensing documents, and interfacing with regulatory bodies.

    Skills: Proficiency in project management and complex team coordination. Strong technical writing capabilities are essential.

    Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar credentials are advantageous.

    Legal Requirements: Eligibility to work in the specified location.
