Job Title: PTC Software Tester

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Positive Train Control (PTC) Operations Support Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting PTC operations with a focus on system reliability and stability. They must be able to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities, manage a significant workload, work to remove barriers, and push to achieve results. A strong coordinator with excellent time management and interpersonal skills is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Support PTC operations with a focus on system reliability and stability.

• Manage a significant workload, work to remove barriers, and push to achieve results.

• Take the lead within the team when needed.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Notepad++, PuTTy, NMS, TMDS ViewClient, and Sharepoint.

• Maintain various documents within a Sharepoint environment.

• Troubleshoot system and process problems.

• Build constructive relationships with team members, business partners, and vendors.

• Perform proactive planning, root cause analysis, and issue mitigation.

• Work with technology consultants and suppliers.

Qualifications:

• 4-year Bachelor's Degree.

• Prior knowledge of Positive Train Control is a plus.

• Technical writing skills and able to maintain various documents within a Sharepoint environment are a plus.

• Remedy and TSS experience is a plus.

• Remedy and Mainframe experience is a plus.

• Attention to detail; task-oriented; able to follow a set of procedures accurately.

• Strong research skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• A self-starter and reliable individual.
