    Title: Sr. Model Implementation Developer

    Our company is looking for an experienced Model Implementation Developer to join our Model Risk Management (MRM) team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Renaissance Initiative of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). This role requires a proactive and communicative individual who can creatively solve problems and participate in technical decision-making. We are looking for a team player who can collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical professionals in an Agile environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate on the review and approval of Risk Pillar test plans and results for the OCC’s Renaissance Initiative.

    • Develop and maintain MRM’s custom Risk Systems Control Tool, including front-end, middle layer, and back-end features.

    • Deploy MVG’s Risk System Control Tool in an AWS environment and integrate with AWS data sources.

    • Convert OCC’s quantitative financial models into MRM’s modeling infrastructure, with an emphasis on computational performance.

    • Conduct code reviews, mitigate potential issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

    • Participate in the creation and review of business and technical user stories, providing constructive feedback and input.

    • Participate in innovative design and proof of concept(s) with emerging technologies and solutions.

    • Adhere to industry best practices such as continuous integration, continuous deployment, automated testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

    • Write unit and integration tests using chosen DevOps frameworks.

    • Maintain the MRM IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and shared drives.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of .NET and C# development experience

    • 5+ years of JavaScript experience, including React and TypeScript

    • 2+ years of experience working in a Cloud environment, specifically AWS

    • 2+ years of Java development and 3+ years of experience developing quantitative financial models

    • Experience as a solution architect for both front-end and back-end systems

    • Experience with RESTful APIs and Git workflows

    • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines

    • Knowledge of monitoring tools and frameworks like Splunk, ElasticSearch, Prometheus, AppDynamics

    • Experience with financial data

    Education:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a similar technical field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
