Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Designer with a strong emphasis on low voltage systems to join our team. In this role, you will work on a variety of projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create electrical designs that meet our clients' needs. Proficiency in Revit is a must, as you will be responsible for integrating low voltage systems into building designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Design: Collaborate with engineers and architects to design low voltage electrical systems, including security, data, communication, and audiovisual systems.
Revit Proficiency: Utilize Revit to create and develop electrical design models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
System Integration: Integrate low voltage systems seamlessly into building designs, considering functionality, aesthetics, and efficiency.
Code Compliance: Ensure all low voltage designs meet relevant local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
Documentation: Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation for project proposals and construction documents.
Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to provide technical expertise, address design challenges, and contribute to the successful completion of projects.
Quality Assurance: Review and quality-check electrical designs and documentation to maintain high standards and accuracy.
Research and Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in low voltage systems to implement innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in electrical design, with a focus on low voltage systems.
Proficiency in using Revit for electrical design.
Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and regulations.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and high-quality work.
Self-motivated, with the ability to manage tasks and meet project deadlines.
