In the role of CAD Resource, we'll count on you to:

Produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided drafting software with occasional assistance from project engineers and managers,

Conduct field investigations and inspections as needed

Assist with Quantity Take-Off and Engineering Cost Estimates

perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience

Experience in civil design

Requires good working knowledge of MicroStation OpenRoads and/or Bentley OpenRoadsDesigner

Requires a good working knowledge construction documents and technical knowledge of transportation projects

Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are essential

Civil drafting background

An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer or MicroStation OpenRoads with experience working with TxDOT projects

Need to be familiar with CAD National Standards

In--office Tuesday through Thursday, with option to work from home Monday and Friday.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of Bentley and/or Power GEOPAK

Understanding of Texas Department of Transportation and Municipal Clients Project Development Process, CAD, and contract plan requirements
