    Senior Project Controls Specialist

    Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Controls Specialist to oversee and direct all project control activities for our projects. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing comprehensive project controls strategies, ensuring accurate conversion of data from estimates to our project control systems, and analyzing performance variances to drive project success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead the development and implementation of the project controls program, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Establish and manage Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures, guaranteeing precise data conversion. Conduct variance analysis in cost and schedule performance, proposing mitigation strategies to project management. Oversee project resource forecasting and manage schedules to optimize resources. Support project proposal efforts, particularly in cost and scheduling. Participate in cost reviews for project profit recognition, presenting opportunities and evaluations to management. Fulfill additional responsibilities as required. Basic Qualifications:

    A four-year degree or global equivalent in a relevant field and twelve years of related experience, or sixteen years of direct experience in project controls if non-degreed. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with management, team members, clients, and external partners. Strong technical knowledge necessary for job completion. Proven ability to learn and adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines. Detail-oriented with a capacity for timely and effective work. Special Requirements:

    U.S. Citizenship required without dual citizenship, to meet client requirements. Preferred Qualifications:

    Prior leadership experience as a Cost Lead or Planner on large projects, or as a Controls Team Lead/Manager on medium-sized projects. Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and related project management tools. Familiarity with Department of Energy EVMS metrics and variance analysis. Comprehensive experience across all project phases: Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Startup. Availability to travel internationally for project and business needs.
