Title: Junior Networking Technician

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Networking Technician to join our team in Sherman, TX. The primary responsibility of this role is the preparation and verification of data cables within a large warehouse setting, utilizing tools such as the Fluke Pen Tester. This position is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and performance of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare data cables for certification, including organization, labeling, and ensuring compliance with initial quality standards.

Conduct comprehensive verification of data cables using the Fluke Pen Tester and other designated testing equipment.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of cable verification results, promptly identifying any discrepancies for further investigation.

Collaborate with senior technicians in troubleshooting and resolving issues discovered during the verification process.

Work closely with the team to optimize cable certification workflows and uphold an organized workspace.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience in networking, particularly in cable verification.

Proficiency in using cable testing equipment, specifically the Fluke Pen Tester, with demonstrated expertise.

Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

Effective communication abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment.
