Our client is looking for an Engineer in Training (EIT) in the Dallas area to support our growing Conveyance Team. The Engineer in Training will assist with civil design and/or conveyance staff with design of collection/wastewater or distribution/water pipeline. You will also communicate status updates and expectations to project stakeholders and present project details to clients, team members, and professional organizations.

Our Ideal Teammate:

We require a bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, mechanical engineering or a related field and EIT certification within 6 months of your hire date. A post-graduate degree is preferred.

Our ideal teammate will have experience in designing or construction of conveyance systems, pipeline, and lift or pump stations along with experience preparing construction documents and technical memorandum. Our ideal candidate will also have experience preparing permit applications for local and state agencies including TxDOT and TCEQ.

An Engineer in Training is expected to be proficient with Microsoft Office (including Excel). A working knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, Google Earth or other Geographic mapping is preferred. We are seeking a driven, organized, self-starter with strong communication skills who can work independently and collaboratively with a team.
