Successful candidate will support Positive Train Control (PTC) operations with a focus on system reliability and stability. Successful candidate should be able to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities. They will also manage a significant workload, work to remove barriers, and push to achieve results. Candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong time management skills and work exceptionally well within a team. A successful candidate will also be able to communicate well verbally and written between different levels of management. A STRONG COORDINATOR would be good for this.
Basic Qualifications: • Reliable, prompt and a self-starter • Technical writing skills and able to maintain various documents within a Sharepoint environment • Should have ability to take the lead within the team when needed • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Notepad++, PuTTy, and Sharepoint • Attention to detail; task oriented; able to follow a set of procedures accurately • Must have strong research skills • Skills in troubleshooting system and process problems • Strong interpersonal skills • Build constructive relationships with team members, business partners, and vendors • Proactive planning, root cause analysis, issue mitigation and a sense of urgency are critical • Experience in working with technology consultants
Preferred Qualifications: • 4 year Bachelor Degree/Computer skills certifications • Prior knowledge of Positive Train Control is a plus • Remedy and TSS experience is a plus • Mainframe experience is a plus • Knowledge of UFT One Automation software • Knowledge of VB Script coding.
