    Job Title: Structural Engineer

    Location: Houston, TX or Greenville, SC

    Responsibilities:

    Plan, organize, and coordinate structural and multi-disciplined engineering projects, covering all phases from planning to construction, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards such as International Building Code, ASCE 7, AISC 360, and ACI 318.

    Perform detailed structural analyses including seismic, wind, and foundation design using advanced skills in RISA and STAADPro software.

    Oversee preparation and review of engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications. Utilize expertise in steel structures, concrete structures, and dynamic analysis to enhance design accuracy and integrity.

    Provide technical guidance and direction to engineering teams, leveraging experience in various roles including Discipline Lead Engineer and Engineering Manager, to promote project accuracy and efficiency.

    Conduct thorough reviews of construction documents to ensure all specifications meet project requirements and regulatory standards.

    Qualifications:

    U.S. Citizen, willing to work in Houston, TX or Greenville, SC

    Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering; a Master’s or Doctorate degree is advantageous.

    Over 10 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on nuclear facilities, well-versed in EPC project environments across various industries such as pharmaceutical, industrial, and government projects.

    Professional Engineer License is preferred; Engineer in Training with active pursuit of licensure is acceptable.

    Proficient in computer-aided drafting and engineering software including RISA 3D, RISA Foundation, and STAAD Pro.

    Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills, capable of leading project discussions and presenting technical information clearly.

    Position Requirements:

    Strong teamwork capabilities, able to lead and integrate well with multidisciplinary teams.

    Must pass a background investigation and drug screening as required by the Department of Energy.
