    Job Description

    Sphere is looking for an Events Marketing Manager with a passion for lead generation. This person will be responsible for spearheading the event strategy including all in-person tradeshow exhibits, sponsored and virtual events, from planning to execution to post-event analytics. This dynamic role collaborates with all areas of the Marketing team and many teams within the company.

    In this role, you will:

    ·       Manage industry tradeshow exhibits including planning, logistics, coordinating with show representatives, budgeting, and more

    ·       Assist in planning bi-monthly webinars, virtual meetings and hosted events

    ·       Manage and maintain various planning documents, including event calendars, event reports and other key documents

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·       Manage and update exhibit and event calendar and coordinate with key stakeholders

    ·       Work with director of marketing to develop event strategy and objectives; execute initiatives to meet lead gen, customer and partner engagement objectives.

    ·       Event management and coordination pre-show, onsite, and post show, including brand presence, theming, messaging, sales training, securing speaking opportunities, prospect engagement before/during/after event and lead generation activities

    ·       Manage program spend to ensure desired ROI is achieved and stays on budget.

    ·       Coordinate with marketing team, design agency, and external agencies to deliver marketing communications including sales collateral, videos, webinars, presentations, and social media publishing.

    • Update and manage conference booth kits and all marketing materials associated with events and conferences (banner ups, collateral, swag, etc). Track event inventory.

    ·       Close partnership with sales teams to execute events with lead generation focus as well as client engagement and retention. Strong focus on helping Sales team achieve goals.

    • Analyze previous conference and event outcomes to inform future event decision-making and strengthen trade show results.
    • Measure and report performance of events and campaigns, pipeline contribution, goal achievement, ROI and insights.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    ·       Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline

    • 3+ years of experience in event marketing
    • Proficient with Zoom Webinar, HubSpot, Microsoft Office, Asana and Salesforce
    • Ability to travel up to 35%
    • Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and diverse environment
    • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills
    • Detail and deadline-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal skills, strong project management, and problem-solving skills.

    ·       Highly organized with an ability to manage resources, budgets, and onsite personnel

    • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision toward the achievement of personal and team goals. Willing to take initiative and go the extra mile.
