    Job Overview:

    In search of a Social Media and Content Lead to join our growing Marketing Communications team. This individual will report to the Director of Marketing and Communications and will be responsible for building and managing our social media presence and content strategies. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and an exceptional ability to express our organization's views creatively.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage our social media and content needs which includes planning and executing digital campaigns.

    • Create and communicate strong and consistent brand identity.

    • Oversee content production and develop a web content strategy that syncs with our brand marketing and demand generation goals.

    • Conduct research to obtain a strong understanding of current trends and audience tendencies

    • Appropriate SEO tactics to help improve domain authority and natural search results by incorporating high-value keywords into new articles, optimizing target keywords in existing articles, and securing backlinks.

    • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics in collaboration with our existing vendors and partners.

    • Develop strong views of both present and future customer journeys and apply these to marketing initiatives.

    • Work closely with the marketing team to help implement our content strategy

    • Coordinate with existing external vendors and partners when necessary

    • Develop effective communications across all channels.

    • Collaborate with other company branches, including sales, HR, operations, and front-end development (UX/UI), to ensure brand consistency.

    • Maintain a master content calendar to manage a creation and delivery schedule for content.

    • Report on metrics such as engagement data and lead generation efforts

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 3 years of similar work experience

    • Post-secondary education preferred

    • Ability to help create and manage content for a variety of mediums including but not limited to email, blog posts, white papers/guides. Thought leadership articles, customer case studies, website pages, sales/event collateral, video scripts, etc.

    • You have deep experience with SEO, keyword strategy, and analytics. You're familiar with tools such as AHREFS or SEMRush, to monitor competitive positioning and identify new opportunities.

    • Proven work experience in social media, content curation, and analysis.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills especially in a team environment.

    • Hands-on experience in content management.

    • Experience using CRM and CMS platforms (experience with HubSpot considered an asset).

    • Experience with tools such as Meltwater, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Sprout Social.

    • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).

    • Knowledge of online marketing channels.

    • Familiarity with web design.

    • Experience working with and directing vendors/partners/clients.

    • Up to date with current digital technologies and trends.

    • Motivated self-starter who is able to work in a client-focused environment, with the ability to work well independently as well as within a team.
