Rate of Pay: $18.25 per hour

Shift 2

Purpose of the position:

The primary function of this position is to build spice kits in accordance with kitchen specifications and production schedule. This position includes duties related to inventory management and material handling. Spice Room attendant is expected to follow all GMP and quality standards, while maintaining the flow of product through the production process.

Essential Job Functions:

• Weigh and kit spice kits according to Kitchen Spice Batching SOP.
• Accurately document and label spice kits physically and systematically (MII). Turn in completed kitchen work orders to designated person.
• Wash, document, and label tools according to Foster Farms Allergen Separation Policy.
• Review and manage spice room inventory. Work with Warehouse and Procurement team to order additional ingredients.
• Assist with Sanitation and Cook Assistant duties, as needed.
• At the end of shift, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping duties and cleanup procedures in work area.
• Report to assigned work area. Obtain schedule, obtain paperwork, and prepare for operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate with proficiency in English.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment (including computer technology) and tools required to perform the job.
• Must be able to understand and comply with SDSs (Safety Data Sheets).
• Must be able to understand and follow all written SOPs and SSOPs.
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position (including weekend).
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check and drug test.
