We are hiring a Field Service Technician to work out of our Hillsboro, OR location and support our local customer base; some national travel may be required. Working closely with our Service, Parts/Install and Customer Service departments, this individual will install and maintain equipment, complete repairs, and train operators and staff as necessary.
Key Responsibilities would include:
- Ensuring customer satisfaction (our #1 priority)
- Utilizing basic electrical and mechanical diagrams to evaluate the integrity of the equipment -may entail disassembly, inspection of electrical and mechanical components and checking safety devices for proper function
- Conduct full function testing as a means of quality control
- Install and maintain equipment including regularly scheduled service and replacement parts
- Maintain an installation and repair schedule for maximum efficiency
**Our ideal candidate will have the following: **
- Excellent mechanical and electrical skills
- 2+ years of experience with field and bench work
- Proven follow-through on projects and procedures with an emphasis on seeing jobs through until completion
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- A valid drivers’ license and a clean driving record are required
