    Opportunity

    Spirit HR is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner who is self-motivated, detail oriented and customer focused to carry out client liaison and human resource responsibilities. This role supports a portfolio of Spirit HR clients, coordinates client matters with all internal departments and responds to general human resource issues.

    We are looking for

    • 4-5 years human resources and customer service experience
    • Ability to develop and maintain great customer relations.
    • Ability to communicate and interface effectively with clients, worksite employees, and team members.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in human resource management and compliance.
    • Self-starter that can work independently and problem solve.

    Responsibilities

    • Supports a portfolio of clients by responding to questions/requests and coordinating with internal departments to assure exceptional service delivery.
    • Actively supports clients with general HR matters.
    • Stays abreast of new regulatory compliance to understand its impact in the PEO relationship.
    • Works with sales team to understand new client operation.
    • Supports client throughout the implementation process.
    • Responds to client questions and requests.
    • Assists with implementation of additional products and services.
    • Monitors client satisfaction and addresses concerns.
    • Stays abreast of internal processes to assure efficiency and regulatory compliance.
    • Coordinates benefits open enrollment with client.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Human Resources

    • Responds to multi-state unemployment claims.
    • Reviews and makes recommendations to client regarding employee handbooks to assure compliance with federal and state regulations as well as HR best practices.
    • Develops, implements, and maintains HR compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to federal, multi-state, and local employment laws.
    • Manages multi-state employment poster distribution program.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, HRCI) are a plus.
    • Proven experience in human resources with a strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify compliance gaps and propose effective solutions.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively articulate compliance requirements to various stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Proficient in using MS Office Suite and HR information systems (HRIS) and other software applications.
    • Requires use of personal vehicle for local client visits.
