Spitz is currently seeking an Attorney to work the litigation process for employment claims in Lexington, Kentucky. This position involves handling the EEOC process, meeting with clients, drafting pleadings, and negotiating cases. The key qualifications for this position will be the ability to engage clients; speak well, demonstrate empathy, and work hard. We will consider all currently licensed attorneys irrespective of GPA or experience. While employment law experience will be seen as a positive, it is not a requirement. Responsibilities: • Handle discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination cases from beginning to end • Conduct client onboarding consultations with clients to obtain all information necessary to process the claims • Communicate daily with staff and managers to coordinate screenings and consultations • Draft notice of claims, EEOC charges, state charge forms, and other documents as necessary Qualifications: • Must have Juris doctorate • Must be currently licensed in Kentucky or awaiting bar results • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills • Must be able to demonstrate empathy • Must possess the ability to multi-task using advanced time management skills and demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize work Compensation: $65,000 - $90,000 yearly + Bonus
