Splitsville Luxury Lanes, located in Disney Springs, is a lively restaurant with a massive menu (much like the restaurant itself) and something for everyone-from mouth-watering burgers to fresh-rolled sushi, and hand-tossed pizzas. The unique "Golden age of bowling" atmosphere offers a modern dining experience with retro style to "spare"-spanning 2 floors, 5 bars, a billiards area, feather bowling area and 26 bowling lanes. Splitsville provides a fun atmosphere and great work environment for employees. We are currently looking for HOSTS, BUSSERS AND FOOD RUNNERS on Disney Springs Property. BUSSER Duties & Responsibilities: Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift. Pre-bus and clear tables after guests leave. Take used tableware to dish room and unload, sort and stack silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in designated areas in the soiled dish drop off area. Check floor and clean as required. Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed. Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to server as needed. Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service. Thank guests as they are leaving Remove full trash cans and bus tubs from service stations regularly. Bag and Restock Ice Cooler General cleaning duties. FOOD RUNNER Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure trays of food are correct based upon the ticket provided Deliver food to the correct table with the ticket, tray and tray jack Garnish food items as they become ready Communicate effectively with the guests when delivering food Perform opening/ closing duties and side work required Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes. Handle, store, defrost, and rotate all products properly. Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to server as needed. General cleaning duties. HOST Duties & Responsibilities: Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival. Utilize and manage a computerized seating chart and accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible. Educate guests on pertinent bowling information, restroom locations, servers name and any other information. Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness. Relay messages to servers and bus persons as needed. Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return. Clean and restock restrooms during the shift. Cash handling - both manual and using computerized registers Complete side work such as rolling silverware, folding napkins, scraping shoes, and keeping area stocked Qualifications for all positions Restaurant experience is not required, but is recommended Ability to effectively communicate with guests Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor Nights, weekends and holiday availability is a requirement Additional information Expected to be able to perform the job functions within reasonable accommodation. Physical demands may include: Be able to reach above and below shoulders, bend, stoop, squat, and twist repetitively throughout the shift. Be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds. (up to 20 lbs for HOST) Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time. Must have good hygiene and grooming habits.
