    ON-DEMAND RESEARCH ANALYST

    SponsorUnited looking to expand its Business Solutions team with an on-demand research analyst.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collect and analyze data on-demand for SponsorUnited clients which include teams, properties, agencies, brands, and media companies.
    • Research and update all business information including financial information, relevant news, key contacts, marketing information for teams, properties, agencies, brands, and media companies both domestic and international
    • Research partnership deals, categories, and assets to continuously build the SponsorUnited database
    • Enhance data quality by updating existing company profiles and contact information
    • Build robust reports that use data to tell stories and create insights for key audiences
    • Collaborate with the SponsorUnited Business Solutions team to improve the efficiency of projects and processes
    • Support Business Solutions Managers with time-sensitive client requests and larger deliverables
    • Create brief, qualitative reports that provide top-level highlights on brands to help clients prepare for sales meetings

    Requirements

    • Strong analytical skills, work ethic, and attention to detail
    • Ability to manage projects effectively while juggling multiple priorities under time pressure
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to anticipate clients' needs and questions when offering solutions or delivering reports 
    • Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions independently
    • Professional and respectful when communicating with clients or coworkers
    • Good time-management skills
    • Ability to work in a 100% remote, virtual environment

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years experience in research
    • Experience in data collection, analytics, data visualization, or a related field preferred
    • Ability to gather, interpret and input large sets of data
    • Experience with Excel and proficient with analytic functions
