MEDIA SCOUT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scouting local television and radio within your markets that cover a vast amount of properties
• Scouting national television events within sports and entertainment
• Scouting streaming video and music
• Becoming an expert and familiar with your particular market and the properties and brands specific to it
• Researching any new properties to add to the platform and current properties that may be missing
• Initiating a new digital media scouting process that covers the national and local space
• Meeting deadlines for reports on a weekly basis
• Assisting with impromptu projects with sudden deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of media including television, radio, digital and streaming
• Commitment to 15 hours worth of scouting, meeting, demo preparation and research
• Time flexibility for certain events that other departments are depending
• Patience with repetitive work that requires you to be detail-oriented
• Constant communication with all team members to help streamline important projects and reports
