Position Title: Business Analyst

Position Overview: As a Business Analyst, you’ll be responsible for reviewing and understanding requirements, and translating those requirements into design work for applications, while also serving as project lead on various projects.

Key responsibilities include: Analyzing work, including wire framing, and writing detailed specifications that incorporate business logic for front-end and back-end developers can use for coding and serving as a liaison between the company and outsourced vendors.

Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

Actively interfaces with vendors and executes appropriate project activities, such as business requirements, procedures, products, and technical specifications.

Assists with ongoing support and acting as subject matter expert for various software solutions.

Learning and developing products in the way they work.

Become a subject matter expert on the companies’ technology.

Create functional requirements in use cases and coordinate requirements walk-through and sign-offs.

Create documentation, user stories, and activity diagrams and map processes of data flow. including how we process of data and how it moves through a system/pipeline.

Understanding how Clients use our technology.

Analyze tradeoffs between user needs, usability considerations, performance impacts, system capabilities and constraints, driving a solution that aligns with scope, schedule and cost parameters or impacts.

Support UAT as needed, including assisting in test planning and participating in defect triage/reviews to ensure the end solution meets requirements and user needs.

Other duties as assigned and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Effective when working independently and in team environments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (such as Project, Word, and Excel) and Windows operating systems environment.

Physical Demands:

Must have and maintain the physical, sensory, emotional and mental abilities necessary for effective communication in person, in writing and by telephone

Education and Experience:

5 - 7 years of experience in a business analyst/project management role in a complex business and systems environment.

Associates degree or equivalent experience.

Experience with Power BI or similar business analytics service

Experience in retail organizations is a plus.
